20 Point Tune-Up
What is a 20 Point Tune-Up / Check Up?

Give us a call today, and we’ll set up our schedule to meet your needs. Our special right now is $49.95 for the complete preventive maintenance check on your HVAC System (both Heating and Cooling sides this time of year). It is recommended you do it twice a year by manufactures, but at least once a year. It is designed to keep your HVAC System operating safely and efficiently. And if you have a warranty, it is required to keep that valid, much like changing the oil on a new car. You will receive an invoice documenting everything we checked / inspected for you, along with any recommendations like failed or failing parts, as well as advice such as filter replacement if we see your coils are getting coated with energy wasting materials. No other work will ever be done without your permission!

Additional Information
We will also cut and install a Poly-Flo filter for your system (to use in place of the disposable filters), unless you have a better one, in which case, we will clean that filter for you. Better filters are the electrostatic type which come in many different varieties. They might have a plastic or aluminum frame, and their mesh area may have a low voltage transformer connected to them which causes the “Electronic Filtration” to occur. If you don’t have a better filter we will offer you the option of purchasing one, if you like. We always recommend them for homes where one or more of the inhabitants has allergies, asthma, or any other respiratory ailment where air purity is an issue for them. These can be something as simple to install as a standard filter (just put it in), to one that actually goes in-line with the ducting and is part of the air handler area
What’s Included?
The actual things performed during your Tune-Up will vary depending on whether you have a Heat Pump, a Gas Furnace, or Heat Strips. The bottom line is we will take great care of your central air system (air conditioning and/or heating portion for you), so you can focus on the important things in life, like family, and friends. We have been around since 1994, are Licensed, Bonded, and Insured, and we are registered with the Better Business Bureau. We also receive referrals from SRP and APS, are coming on board with South West Gas for their furnace specials, and our list of customers and return customers grows every year. We have N.A.T.E. Certified Technicians, and Heat Pump Council Certified Master Technicians. Whether we go out to do a Tune-Up, repair a down or troubled unit, or give you a Free Estimate for something new, you can rest assured we will take care of your system like it was our own.
Can I Add Another System?
For additional HVAC Systems, we charge only $19.95 more ea. That means if you have two units, then our price will be $54.95. They both get the same great service, up to 1 pound of refrigerant for free, and the free washable air filter, as explained above. This is a substantial savings off of our “Book Price”. If you have an Evaporative Cooler (Swamp Cooler), we’ll include it for only $15.00 more per unit. We don’t provide new pads if they need them, but if you have them, the technician can put them on for you for a nominal fee (straight labor rate).
The best way to tell how many HVAC Systems you have is by the number of Thermostats. Since some units have two return air vents (the place where you change your filter Monthly), we don’t count those. The Actual Air Conditioner is either on the Roof or the Ground (99% of all systems), and it has an Air Handler (place where all the ducts hook up to be blown about the house), usually in the Attic. If your heating is gas, then that can be in the Attic, in a closet, or connected to the physical air conditioner itself. If you don’t know much about your system, don’t worry, most of our techncians enjoy talking customers through our Tune-Up so you can get an education while you’re at it.
What About Gas Furnaces?
If you have a gas furnace, and haven’t turned it on yet, this year, we’ll make sure your pilot comes on, and that your system is venting correctly with a carbon monoxide meter. If it is time to secure it for the summer, we do that for you as well. Our technicians hustle for your business, so if you like the work they did for you, give us a call on our main number, 602-266-5223 and let us know.
Payment Terms?
We will give you an Invoice, broken down into the various things that we looked at, and if we spot anything important, like a burned or pitted contactor, a loose duct, even dirty coils, we will make recommendations about what you should do to correct these. We will never perform any extra work without your permission. You will always know up front what the cost will be for any work since it is always written down first. If you decide not to do anything other than the tune-up, that’s fine. Whether you are a first-time customer, or we’ve been out to your house every year, you are important to us and we will take care of you.
Do You Offer Financing?
If your unit needs some work, our technicians can help you get financed. This would include doing extras like duct cleaning, coil cleaning, even getting one of our Maintenance Assurance Plans, or if a major component is failing and needs to be repaired as soon as possible.
